Ka Pomblang Nongkrem is a five-day thanksgiving festival of the Hima Khyrim, held at Smit near Shillong. It includes traditional ceremonies at the house of the Syiem (chief) and dances in traditional dress.
The dates are set by the Hima each year and announced shortly before.
